Beagles are known for their friendly, curious natures. As part of the Hound group in the canine world, once reaching maturity beagles typically weigh between 20-30 pounds. Beagles make exceptional hunting dogs due to their diligence and remarkable sense of smell. Bred to hunt in packs, beagles get along well with other pets.
