Jeff & I always lived the farm life from the very beginning of our relationship. Jeffrey grew up with animals, especially rabbit & deer hounds & his horses. I never took care of an animal in my life so I jokingly say, "I was grafted in". Jeff always has been a huge animal lover & was raised hunting from a little lad. So, we always had lots of farm animals. God always blessed us with the best too. We have many stories we can tell. Well, Jeff started judging beagle field trials & he was good at it, the best actually. The most honest for sure. Well, that was a problem because of the cheating going on. The "big guys" didn't like that they couldn't cheat around Jeffrey. We even own our own field trial club for a while, but it took over our lives where Jeff was never home because he was traveling every weekend to judge trials and when he was home, he was taking calls and talking about trials and dogs & ordering everything from advertisement, trophies, food to cook for all the people out in the middle of nowhere most times & just everything needed to put together competitions. We were missing church on Sundays now, no time for fellowship because it was all about these trials. Plus, the trials became political with corrupt judging and people offended because Jeff wouldn't cheat so that caused a lot of strife, lots & lots of stress.
You know the story. OTW to church (we were still in church, still saved, still standing for God, witnessing but we were off) I started crying that these dogs were a god. God was not first place. These dogs were. So, we cleaned house got rid of every dog we had. A few months later, Pastor Larry Stockstill shares a vision )thats in the Surge book) God showed him and prays for us to partner with him on the Surge Project to build churches around the world to win souls to Jesus. Thats when we started breeding Beagles but not for trialing anymore but for the ultimate small house pet beagles. God connected us to Mr. Abraham & Mrs. Nacy Saba who had the same testimony how God blessed him with beagles. Their Saying about their dogs was The Best in The World! Anyone who got a pup from The Saba's heard him proclaim his little small house pet Beagles was, The Best in the World! We were back at it but this time with a fresh anointing. God had tested us to see if He is first before he blessed it. We not trialing or judging any more we breed for the ultimate pet companions that are a blessing & that will minister to their family & household. Believe me when I say Lots of dogs are a stressing, not a blessing. Lots of bad ones out there. God has always blessed us with the best animals. Everyone who knows us will testify to that.
So, now we do the dogs as a ministry to advance The Kingdom of God. We support Surge, TBN, Daystar, our local churches, Bethany Livington Church, Bethany Nola church, Bethany Houma Church, Bethany Baton Rouge Church, Bethany Baker Church, KLove Radio station 92.7 FM, drilling water wells, Ambulance for Israel & many many more & our dogs are under the blessing & our customers are partnering with us come under the blessing & receive the same reward!
